Q + A

This page will be updated regularly as we continue planning. If you have any specific questions about the weekend, please don’t hesitate to reach out to

Kelly at (336) 512-0891 or Anderson at (419) 913-7218.

Are Kids Invited?

Although we love your little ones, due to limited seating and restrictions we are unable to accomodate them at our wedding ceremony and reception.

Is there a travel agency you recommend we contact for trip planning assistance?

Absolutely! We are partnering with Caribbean Concierge to assist our guests with accommodations and other bookings while you're on the island for our wedding. They’re ready to help you choose a hotel that fits your budget, schedule airport transfers, and coordinate any additional excursions or reservations you may want to enjoy. You can reach out to representatives Melissa and Michaela at info@caribbeanconciergevi.com or by phone at (888) 541-1442. Be sure to mention the Roberts/Rathbun Wedding when contacting the agency.

Where Should I Stay?

We’ve gathered lots of great lodging options on our Accomodations Page. Transportation details will be added as we get closer to the wedding. For larger groups wanting to stay together, there are some beautiful Airbnbs on the island! Kelly and Anderson are happy to share their list of favorites if you’re interested - just reach out. If you’d like help finding the perfect place, we recommend reaching out to our travel agent (contact info is on the travel page and below).

Can I Bring a Guest?

Due to number limitations at a smaller venue, we unfortunately cannot accommodate everyone bringing a guest. Your invitation will specifically list if you have a plus one for the wedding.

What will the weather be like?

April in St. Thomas traditionally brings beautiful, warm weather. Average daytime temperatures are around 86°F and comfortable evenings near 75°F . Light rain showers are common and may pop up sporadically throughout the day (typical for the Caribbean).

Do I need a passport?

No, you do not need a passport unless you do not have your real ID driver's license yet. You will have to go through customs at the airport when you are leave but no additional documents or anything is needed to clear (just plan for a bit more time).
